This filter unit uses a dual filter cartridge it comprises Granulated Carbon (GAC)(UDF) Filter Cartridge and a 5 micron Sediment cartridge in the one housing.

The unit easily connects to most taps with one of the adapters supplied, once connected you can easily switch to pure filter water then back to standard water with the flick of the supplied tap.

Carbon filtering is a method of filtering that uses a piece of activated carbon to remove contaminants and impurities, utilizing chemical adsorption. Each piece of carbon is designed to provide a large section of surface area, in order to allow contaminants the most possible exposure to the filter media.

UDF filter cartridge is made of food grade ABS plastic housing inside with granular carbon filter media Granulated Carbon (GAC) has long been utilized to reduce impurities in potable water. It is widely recognized for its adsorption capacity plus its ability to remove organics and chemicals such as chlorine from city water.
